"Black Noise" was their biggest selling album and the single "Phasors On Stun" managed to get some airplay on U.S. AOR radio. I was never really exposed to much of their stuff back in the day, but when I was going to see the reunited band (minus Nash The Slash) at the North East Art Rock Festival last year, I decided to pick this album up/5(41).

For a while, there'd been no releases of the album "Black Noise" on CD or otherwise, so it was looking like I'd have to pay $40+ to get the album. And I was actually, though not too seriously, considering doing it, just to have this song.

"Phasors on Stun" sounds like it's sung from the blackness of space, with piercing laser blasts shooting through the body of the song.
