For younger people who might think that Chicago is an 80s Peter Cetera ballad engine, get this album immediately. It's cheap and easy to find on vinyl or CD and it is an incredible collection of jazzy rock with killer horns and amazing electric guitar.

Alto Trombones are pitched in E-Flat (Eb) – and occupy the musical alto range, sitting above the tenor and bass trombone. Historically the alto trombone rose to prominence in the 18th century and saw a decline in the 19th century due to the rise of the valved trumpet.

Based in Richmond, Virginia, No BS! Brass Band has quickly earned a reputation as a premiere band to see for heart-pounding energy and uncontrollable dancing. They take their music into uncharted territory, embracing the spirit of New Orleans into its original East Coast modern funk and fearlessly combining elements of James Brown, John.

As compared to a tenor trombone, the bass trombone will generally have a larger bell size of 9”, /2” or even 10” compared to the 8” or /2” of a tenor trombone. The larger bell size will produce a broader tone, well suited to producing lower notes.
