LAUGHTER, TEARS and RAGE is a critique of 80's excess and could it be any more bombastic, theatrical or HUGE? This anthology itself is an ode to the excess of ZTT Records in its prime. The art, the words and the absurdly good production are far beyond what a one-album wonder such as ACT would /5(16).

A cover of the Smiths' Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now is also present. The production team of Horn/Lipson who were behind Propaganda give this album all the necessary doses of lavishness. This expanded edition adds some bonus tracks but if you're a willing to shelve out more, then seek out the 3cd expanded edition of Laughter,Tears & Rage!/5(10).
