Chock full of guest stars, Black Market from rapper Rick Ross is his fourth album in two years and features his most personal songs, what he calls the "most sincere" release of his career. Ross is joined by a diverse guest list, ranging from Mariah Carey to Mary J. Blige, CeeLo Green to John Legend and Chris Brown who appears on the hit Sorry.

Black Market is almost anti-Rick Ross; an underground affair that lacked the promotion and pomp of his previous studio albums. Production was handled by Scott Storch, DJ Mustard, Jake One, Jahlil.

Mastermind was by no means a bad album [Roberts doesn't usually release flat-out bad albums, which is a great trait], but that album's top tracks are nowhere close to Black Market's best content. Apart from two appalling D. Rich contributions, the album's production is severely commendable, with top cuts from a reinvigorated J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, some dude named Calvo and another lesser-known.
